The Tropf Blumat self watering system functions fully automatically. As the soil dries, its natural suction power triggers the opening of the Tropf Blumat allowing the water to flow. When the soil is sufficiently moist, the Tropf Blumat automatically stops. |

The Tropf Blumat system is best used for watering your balcony boxes, planters or hanging baskets. It fulfills the needs of the plants on an individual basis regardless of location, light levels or plant type.
Other outdoor uses include vegetable gardens, bushes and flower beds. The Tropf Blumat system is always suitable when plant groupings require consistent moisture.
Use the Tropf Blumat throughout the whole year in greenhouses and indoor gardens. Very water efficient. Tropf Blumats provide excellent consistent irrigation to grow bags and greenhouse containers.

THE SIMPLE WATERING SYSTEM FOR YOUR HOUSEHOLD PLANTS

As the soil dries, the ceramic cone delivers water gradually into the surrounding earth - thereby creating a vacuum within the cone which draws water from the nearby container of water. Once the soil is moistened the Blumat Junior will cease flowing water. It waters your plants only as needed.
ADJUSTING THE BLUMAT FOR HOUSEPLANTS

| Actually no adjusting is necessary. Blumat Juniors for Houseplants will only draw water up 30 cm (12"). If the surface of the water in your container is lower than this, the flow of water will be restricted and the plants gradually dry out. The amount of water that is delivered to your plant will vary only slightly with the location of the water supply. The container should be within this 30 cm (12") height range.
Each Blumat Jr. has a limit on how fast it can deliver water. Several cones may be necessary for larger plants in order to meet the higher water needs. In this case, a larger reservoir of water must also be available. |
