The Uflo Self Cleaning Pond Filter utilizes a free spinning cleaning rotor which is propelled by diverting some of the pump outlet flow which is discharged from the angular nozzles of the rotor to both impart rotation and provides a backwashing jet which keeps the filter cage from clogging.

Problems such as algae, unpleasant odours, weed growth and poor water clarity are a common condition of ponds. The Uflo filter effectively controls these problems leaving cleaner, clearer water.
To maintain the Uflo filter simply pry rotor halves apart with a small screwdriver and remove any blockage. Wash in clean water and reassemble. Every two months of operation rinse the filter mesh with clean water. |

Pond Installation
Place the pump with the Uflo filter into the pond, making sure that it is off the bottom of the pond out of the silt, etc. Inspect the pump and filter to ensure correct operation. |
